Resting, Listening, and Being Renewed in God This time together is an invitation to step aside from daily demands and enter a sacred space of silence, rest, and attentive listening. Rooted in Jesus’ gentle call—“Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while” (Mark 6:31)—this five-day retreat offers time to slow down, let go of burdens, and become more aware of God’s quiet presence. Through silence, personal prayer, and daily spiritual direction, retreatants are invited to listen with the heart, rest in being known and loved by God, and return home renewed, grounded, and gently reoriented toward life with deeper peace and trust.
