Parish Coordinators are more than volunteers who have found Christ the King as their spiritual home and considered helping the Outreach Department to support our Preached Retreat Ministry. Parish Coordinators and co-coordinators are contemporary apostles. Their interest, energies and efforts have one goal—to bring others to Jesus and are an integral and essential member of the Retreat Center team. Retreat is a powerful personal experience. People’s lives are changed on retreat. The Parish Coordinator (PC) has been established to help increase awareness of and participation in Women’s and Men’s Preached Retreats by becoming an evangelist who returns to their parish, shares their experience, and encourages others to attend a retreat of their own. Parish Coordinators take responsibility for promoting retreats by: speaking at Masses where possible, helping place the retreat information in the parish bulletin, establishing relationships with parishioners to encourage their participation, placing flyers/posters in the vestibule, and actively seeking new ways to spread the ministry of retreat.
