Our Triduum Retreat reflections are inspired by the Passion Narrative of St. Mark. As the Rites of the Triduum unfold, we will pause to consider Mark’s proclamation of the self-giving of Jesus. The Cross signifies the radical generosity of Jesus who lived his life for the well-being of others at his own expense. In the last analysis, the Rites, prayers, and reflection of the Triduum do not simply commemorate what Jesus did for us but what we are called to do. We commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus by plunging into the waters of Baptism so we may do what he has done.
