The Birth of Jesus into our lives is a contemporary event. As we are filled with the Spirit of God, we transform the World through our dedicated following of the One who lived a life of self-giving love.

Christmas is an attitude of life. Now more than ever, we are called to see ourselves as the gift others truly need. During this time of pandemic, we are invited to a quieter life based on what really matters. Hopefully we will rediscover the generosity of heart required in times like our own. The Child we commemorate will soon go down into exile as his life is threatened by hostile imperial rulers. We must dedicate ourselves to be Christ reborn in an age when so many are threatened. We dedicate ourselves to be the gift Jesus brings.
