“You Are With Me” – God’s Companionship in the Valley
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” – Psalm 23:4
In times of grief, we often feel as though we are walking alone through a dark and heavy valley. Yet the promise of Psalm 23:4 reminds us that we are never truly alone—God is with us, walking beside us, carrying us when we can no longer stand. This Day of Reflection, themed “You Are With Me – God’s Companionship in the Valley,” invites you to explore the sacred, two-way relationship of “companioning” in grief. We seek God’s strength in our sorrow, and He seeks to surround us with His tender love. Like the image in “Footprints,” He walks with us—even carries us.
