Marriage: A Sacrament of Intimate Friendship

  July 14-16, 2023

In our daily lives, there is probably nothing that takes on the dimension of sacrament and shows us the reality of God’s love more than the presence of human friendship. From the mountain-top experience of the wedding day to the daily grind of our lived experience, marriage can become a wonderful experience. Vatican II calls the relationship between a husband and wife “an intimate community of conjugal life and love.” During the weekend retreat we invite you to celebrate this sacrament of Matrimony by taking some time to listen, reflect, and pray together.

Presenter: Fr. Bruno Robert D’Souza, C.P.

Fr. Bruno joined the Passionist Minor seminary in Cochin, in June 1995 and was ordained on December 4, 2004. Since November 2012, he serves on the Retreat Preaching Team at Mater Dolorosa Passionist Retreat Center in Sierra Madre, California. Fr. Bruno has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Check-In begins at 4:30pm July 14^th and Retreat Ends with Celebration of Mass on Sunday.
