ONLINE Men’s Recovery Retreat: Our Power in Plague-Powerlessness. Love. Acceptance. Gratitude. Usefulness. Empowerment

September 25, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - September 26, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

ONLINE SESSIONS ONLY

Men’s Recovery Retreat- OUR POWER IN PLAGUE:

Powerlessness. Love. Acceptance. Gratitude. Usefulness. Empowerment.

It is important for us to come together in any way we can.  Powerless over the ramifications of the pandemic, we seek to do what we can for the sake of self and others.  Our overnight ZOOM retreat will offer four reflections on our recovery program.  We are constantly inspired by our literature which reflects the way so many have come to a new day of peace and serenity in their lives.

Tim Meier, SJ, former military Chaplain, now with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles will share with us, as together, we continue our journey on the pathway of sobriety. Four reflections will set the stages for personal sharing. Tim will reflect on working Steps with special focus on powerlessness, love, acceptance, gratitude, usefulness and the empowerment we experience through those Steps.
