Married Couples Retreat

The Church is called to be a people who walk together on the pathways of Jesus. Pope Francis would say we journey together “each in our own way.” The following of Jesus does not make us the same but calls forth the uniqueness of each and every person. Married couples bond with one another so as to bring forth the uniqueness of each person. As one wise mystic stated, “I am a better me because I met you.” Our reflections this weekend are inspired by the beautiful Emmaus Narrative (Luke 24), the reflections of Pope Francis in the Apostolic Letter, Amoris Laetitia, and the Ode to Love (I Corinthians 13). This Retreat for Married Couples offers time for mutual dialogue, rest, and reflection.

Fr. Tom is a Passionist Priest from Pittsburgh, PA who has ministered throughout the United States and other parts of the World since 1970. After Ordination priesthood in 1972, he served as religious superior and Retreat Director, chaplain in universities, etc. Tom is the founder of the Interfaith Peace Project of Contra Costa County, a home-based educational outreach providing introductions to the religions of the world. Tom conducts Interfaith Seminars for the School of Applied Theology, Oakland and the Interfaith Chaplaincy School, Berkeley, CA. Tom continues to conduct adult educations classes in Interfaith Spirituality and Sacred Scripture. Fr.Tom ministers as Retreat Associate at the Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center of Citrus Heights, CA.
Check-In/Registration begins at 4:30pm July 15th and Retreat ends with lunch on July 17th.
