You do not know when the time will come…\nWhat I say to you\, I say to all: ‘Watch!'” Mark 13:33–37\nOur Advent Day of Prayer and Reflection will consider the Gospel of St. Mark’s teaching and\nunderstanding that Jesus “will come again.” The faithful follower of Jesus waits in vigilance for the\nfullness of time when Jesus will return in the Glory of God. Vigilance is the heart of Advent. In a very\nreal sense\, Christians are an Advent people waiting for Jesus to come in word and sacrament\, in the fullness\nof time\, in the assembly of the Church\, and in the encounter with the poor.
